Pragmatic and technically apt, William Wu is an Executive Vice President with over 16 years’ experience consulting for and performing ERP software implementations in the energy, technology, telecommunications, and service industries. With a background in both accounting and business and extensive certifications in ERP systems, William possesses both the drive and skill to move a company from where it is, to where it needs to be. Having dedicated more than 4,000 man hours of his own time to several individual projects over the course of his career, William is more than skilled – he’s a dedicated professional.
William has always focused on building success for both his clients and Rand Group. Leading the charge in the development of both the service delivery methodology and the project management framework for Rand Group, as well as the client facing diagnostic, William has demonstrated a keen interest and aptitude for process creation. Building on a foundation of good business sense and tested and implemented procedures, William enjoys a 100% implementation success rate for projects which he has managed, and is responsible for a high level of client retention across the organization.
Utilizing his analytical aptitude, William has developed key performance indicators for financial management performance, identified performance improvement opportunities for Fortune 1000 companies by establishing benchmarks in supply chain management, and has helped drive operational change across various client industries. Prior to joining Rand Group, William held management positions in such reputable organizations as Price Waterhouse LLP, Arthur Andersen LLP and Pannell Kerr Forster.
William holds an MPA in Accounting, and BBA in Business Honors (MBA Program), from the University of Texas at Austin, and is Certified for Dynamics NAV and Dynamics AX Financials. He also holds a SAP FI/CO Certification, and a Blackbaud Financial Edge for Non-Profits Certification. When William is not expertly navigating projects at Rand Group, he’s busy attending speaking engagements and writing technical documents and white papers for his peer community and clients.
