(Dallas, TEXAS) – Rand Group is pleased to announce that Suzie Turner has been appointed Vice President in charge of the company’s Dallas operation.

“We believe strongly in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and having Ms. Turner’s technical expertise as well as her management and leadership skills in the market will contribute significantly to our success,” said Ron Rand, CEO and President of Rand Group from the corporate office in Houston.

Under Turner’s direction, the 7,000 square-foot Dallas office will expand its reach to an anticipated $4-million in annual revenues, providing companies with local access to full technology enablement services from ERP and CRM implementation, to infrastructure, business intelligence and marketing services.

Turner said the move to Dallas means great opportunity for herself and Rand Group, which Accounting Today has repeatedly identified as the top VAR (Value-Added Reseller) in Texas with 100 employees.

“We help our clients’ work smarter because we understand what technology can do for a company’s life,” Turner said. “I’m excited about this opportunity. I thrive on change, accountability and responsibility and I’m going to take that same philosophy to Dallas. There’s nothing stopping us.”

Turner was among the founding employees when Rand Group opened its doors in 2003. She started as an associate working on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and focused her attention on how to best use technology to address her clients’ concerns so they could achieve financial success.

For the past three years, Turner has been the Senior Manager in charge of a large team of technology specialists who provide support for companies that use Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV, and AX products. Prior to that Turner worked in project implementation, and has expertise in system design, testing, data conversion and training.

Rand said it is significant to him that someone with such depth and breadth with the company will be at the helm in Dallas.

“When I launched Rand Group I sought out exceptional people for my team, and Ms. Turner was one of them,” he said. “I have no doubt she will continue to aid us immeasurably with our future plans.”

A graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Turner became interested in technology in the late 1990s when Y2K conversions were taking place across North America. Today she holds certifications in NAV Financials and NAV Implementation and has nearly 20 years’ experience performing ERP software implementation for the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries.
