Rand Group climbs to #24 in Top 100 global VARS list for 2015

(HOUSTON, TEXAS) – Rand Group has been identified among the top global leaders in the implementation of financial software and other technology-related business services, as reported in Bob Scott Insight’s Top 100 VARS released this month.

The Houston-based company ranks number 24 worldwide in BSI’s Top 100 VARS 2015 listing, making it the top-ranked VAR (value-added reseller) in Texas in a field of companies based in the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia that sell, customize and implement software products including Microsoft Dynamics AX, GP and NAV, which Rand Group specializes in.

“Rand Group has made significant gains in recent years, and it’s an honor to be listed among these companies,” said President and CEO Ron Rand. “Last year the company broke through to the BSI’s top 25 VARs, and this year maintained its position as the top VAR in Texas and improved its standing yet again. We are very pleased.”

Since 2013 when Rand Group ranked #28, the company has increased its revenues by 47% and its employees by 41%. The Top 100 ranks mid-market reselling firms based on annual revenue. Where revenues are equal, employee numbers are taken into account.

Currently, Rand Group is in the midst of further expansion having recently opened a second office in the Houston area, and announcing expansion plans for its Dallas office under the helm of its new vice president Suzie Turner. Rand Group now employs 102 people throughout its operation.

“We have continued to excel in delivering our mainstay offerings of Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV, AX and CRM products for the manufacturing, distribution, oil & gas, construction and professional services markets. And our focus has expanded to providing a full suite of IT business services that includes business intelligence and automated marketing strategies,” Rand said.

“The core of our mission is to help people use technology for business success.  Delivering systems that accurately record and report an organization’s transactions is a critical piece to an organization achieving its goals and realizing the benefits of full technology enablement,” Rand added.

Rand Group has established itself as a deeply committed community member, lending its technological expertise by assisting non-profit organizations including Houston Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Symphony Orchestra, and Houston Public Media as their Information Technology strategist.
