Access Advanced Search and Filters tool in D365 Customer Engagement

Steps:

  1. Click the search bar at the top of the Dynamics 365 platform and from the dropdown, select “Search for rows in a table using advanced filters.”

  1. A side window will appear where you can search for the table, or select it directly, then click continue.

  1. From the advance filters windowpane manage the filters according to the record attributes you are looking for. See example below, of a filter searching for Opportunities estimated to close this month, with an estimated revenue greater than $40,000.

  1. Enhance your search by adding filters across related tables by clicking on the +Add button then “Add related entity.” In the below example we have added the related entity source campaign to further filter opportunities with the source campaign type of “Direct Marketing” and “Advertising.”

  1. Save your view of the filtered records by clicking on the table list name drop down arrow, then “Save as new view.”

  1. Add the name and description. This will be saved as a personal view for your profile.
