Leadership that fuels growth: Andrew King joins Rand Group

We’re thrilled to announce that Andrew King has been named our new Chief Innovation Officer (CIO)—a role that underscores our continued commitment to advancing innovation and providing exceptional value to the clients we serve.

With more than twenty years in the business applications space, Andrew has built a strong record of innovation and results. He joined WebSan Solutions Inc. as a partner in 2008 and helped transform the company into an award-winning Microsoft partner. When WebSan was acquired by Rand Group in 2025, Andrew became part of the Rand Group leadership team. Today, he continues to drive growth and innovation.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University. That education gave him a strong foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving. He applies that methodical approach to every project. Over his career, he has guided client initiatives from start to finish, ensuring implementations run smoothly and deliver measurable results. He also held senior roles in operations and supply chain, gaining experience with SAP solutions and complex enterprise processes.

In addition to his broad leadership experience, Andrew has deep expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365. He served on the Microsoft Partner Advisory Council, collaborating with peers and Microsoft to shape the future of the platform. Under his leadership, WebSan was recognized as the Dynamics 365 Business Central Global Partner of the Year, a distinction that highlights his ability to deliver transformative solutions that help clients succeed.

This mix of technical expertise, strategic vision, and hands-on execution equips him to lead Rand Group’s innovation efforts. By aligning technology with business goals, he strengthens our leadership team. As a result, he supports ongoing growth in the business applications market.

As Chief Innovation Officer, Andrew will play a pivotal role in shaping Rand Group’s future. His focus will be on advancing new technologies including AI and Copilot—to drive innovation both internally and for our clients. He will guide the development of smarter solutions, from AI-powered automation to next-generation Business Central applications, ensuring Rand Group remains at the forefront of the rapidly evolving business applications landscape. This role is not just about technology, it’s about helping clients work smarter, adapt faster, and achieve more.
