NetSuite Tip of the Month: Setting up NetSuite reminders

How to set up NetSuite reminders

Steps:

  1. Login to NetSuite and navigate to your Dashboard.
  2. Select ‘Personalize’ to add new portlets to your Dashboard.
  3. Locate and select the Reminders portlet.

  1. Proceed with setting up your Reminders portlet by hovering your mouse over the vertical three dots in the upper corner of the portlet.
  2. Select Set Up to configure the portlet.

  1. Click Reminders and select the reminders you wish to add from the list on the left hand side.
  2. Check the ‘Show Reminders with Zero Results’ to display reminders in your portlet even if there are zero active reminders.
  3. Save your selections.

  1. Your selected Reminders now appear in the portlet.
  2. Select the pencil icon to customize the recently added Reminders.

  1. Adding Rules allows you to color code the reminder based on the Reminder’s results.

NOTE: You can turn Saved Searches into reminders by selecting the ‘Available for Reminders’ checkbox when customizing a saved search.
