Tip: Creating and managing user tasks
With User Tasks in Business Central, you can set up reminders for yourself or assign tasks to others in your organization. Tasks can be linked to specific pages or reports within Business Central, allowing users to jump straight to the work that needs to be done.
Managing and assigning task groups
Instead of assigning individual tasks, you can use User Task Groups to organize related tasks and assign them to multiple users. For example, a finance team can be assigned a “Month-End Close” group where any team member can pick up tasks as needed.
Deleting old or completed tasks
To clean up completed or outdated tasks, use the Delete User Tasks report. You can apply filters to remove specific tasks in bulk.
