Formatting and reporting on data from Dynamics GP can often feel like a time-consuming task, especially with the high volume of transactions entered daily. Generating accurate, up-to-date reports requires tools that are both efficient and flexible. Fortunately, Dynamics GP includes a powerful solution that is already built in: Excel Dashboards.

TIP: Use Excel dashboards in Dynamics GP

Excel dashboards are interactive, real-time tools that display key data from Dynamics GP in a visual, easy-to-understand format. These dashboards allow users to monitor KPIs, track financial and operational metrics, and gain deeper insights into business performance—all from within Excel. Best of all, they’re already available within your Dynamics GP environment.

In this example, we’ll walk through how to access and use the standard Sales Excel Dashboard available in Dynamics GP:

  1. Within Dynamics GP, navigate to the Sales area page
  2. In the Navigation Pane on the left, select Excel Reports
