How to view and search all sales lines in Business Central
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a powerful enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that enables companies to manage their sales and finances. However, attempting to view important line level details of various sales documents can be an inefficient and time consuming task as users have to open each individual document separately. For example, when trying to view all posted sales invoice lines, a Business Central user will have to open each individual posted sales invoice and navigate to the lines section.
To streamline this process and increase visibility into sales lines, Rand Group has developed a custom application that enhances Business Central’s native capabilities. The Document Lines Lists application adds several new sales document pages that allow you to view and filter line level details in aggregate instead of having to navigate to individual documents. This post will detail how to access the new pages included in our custom application, how to personalize them for your needs, and how to export the line level detail to Excel.
